Hack'n hol (the hack of the hol)

1. How can scientists tell the age of a tree by looking at the rings? Explain what that means.
Each year a tree gets a new ring telling the age:each ring equals a year



2. How/why would this be useful?
This can be useful because lets say there was a tree thats has be there for quite and you want to see how old the tree is you just simply count the rings




3. Is this an example of relative or absolute dating?
This is an example of absolute dating




4. Provide a picture or a tree ring sample.
